Season 2 of The Eminence in Shadow: The Plot
The first season of The Eminence in Shadow was about Minoru Kagenou, who wanted to be as strong as a fighter so badly that he pushed his body to its limits. He even tried to fit in with the crowd during the day and go after the biker gangs at night like a vigilante, but he died too soon.
His story didn't end there, though. He was reborn as the second child of a noble family in a magical world where magic and mythical beasts are real. We've seen him get stronger and start his own Shadow Garden group to fight the mysterious Cult of Diablos, which is threatening to destroy the world he lives in.
The first season of The Eminence in Shadow covered the first two books of the light novel series. The second season will start with the third volume.
The Blood Queen, a Progenitor Vampire, has been sleeping in her tomb deep in the Lawless City for many moons. Cid should know better than to go after her, since he is always getting himself into trouble.but he can't wait to get in on the fun. It's time for him to stop being himself during the day and become Shadow! But it looks like he's not the only one who thinks this way. Soon, he finds out that Juggernaut the Tyrant, Yukime the Spirit Fox, and Crimson the vampire, who run the Lawless City, are all after him. As the time for the Blood Queen to wake up gets near, the Shadow Garden shows up to make things even more complicated...
